The Computer Support Technician provides hands-on IT support for a manufacturing environment, warehouses, and a test lab. This role supports the technology that enables daily operations, including computers, printers, scanners, networking equipment, automation systems, and emerging AI tools. The position combines technical support, troubleshooting, equipment management, and participation in technology projects while delivering excellent customer service to end users. Occasional travel between local facilities may be required to support business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, maintain, and support PCs, printers, scanners, and network equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, application, and connectivity issues.
  • Manage and resolve support requests through ServiceNow.
  • Aid with IT projects, system upgrades, equipment deployments, and technology rollouts.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and equipment records.
  • Support printer maintenance activities and asset disposal processes.
  • Provide end-user support and technical assistance in a professional and timely manner.
  • Identify opportunities to improve IT processes, operational efficiency, and the overall user experience.
  • Support technology operations across manufacturing, warehouse, and laboratory environments.
  • Travel to nearby facilities as needed to provide technical support.

Education Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • An IT-related degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and standard business applications.
  • Understanding basic cybersecurity concepts.
  • One or more years of IT experience preferred.
  • Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Pay Transparency

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $25.00 - $25.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
