Candidate will be able to provide support to monitor and perform nightly production batch processing in both the Open Systems and mainframe using Control-M products. Candidate will also be tasked to monitor several compute areas for the data center team. They must be able to perform data center facility walk-throughs multiple times per shift. The operator must also be proficient in Microsoft Office products. Candidate will be required to possess good verbal and written communication skills, be able to perform in pressure situations, and have considerable troubleshooting skills. Detailed Responsibilities Monitors and performs nightly production batch processing using Control-M for Open SystemsMonitors and performs nightly production batch processing using Control-M for mainframe servicesMonitors the server and network performance using Solar Winds OrionMonitors the data center facilities alerts using SiteScanMonitors the data center security using Genetec Security Center CCTVMonitors the OnBase polling workstationsPerforms campus walk-through multiple times per shiftEscorts data center visitors as per required basisProficient in Microsoft Office products, ie. Word, Excel, VisioITIL comprehension for Change Request process, Incident Management creation and tracking Qualifications TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE AA Degree in related discipline and one year related experience; Or, High School and two (2) years of related experience with relavent certification. Skills And Qualifications Execute batch processing ; monitor batch processing; AIX open systems and mainframe knowledgeSome adhoc work within excel andVISIOGood written and verbal communication and be able to self motivateUse monitoring tools using Orion for network/ systems and Site scan/site-link to monitor facilitiesPerform recurring faculties walk-around checksHave to be able to go up and down stairsMust be a US Citizen and able to pass a drug screen Desired Control m schedulingBatch processing monitoringOther computer operations monitoring experienceA reliable person looking for stability Target salary range $40,001 - $80,000.
