Computer Operator II

The Computer Operator II supports distribution operations by monitoring and processing orders, managing production printers, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring timely truck departures. Key responsibilities include processing and waving orders, running reports, maintaining printer performance, resolving RF unit problems, and providing IT helpdesk support. Additionally, the role involves performing preventative printer maintenance, restocking supplies, and maintaining an organized workspace. Qualifications required are a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of relevant data processing or computer science experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and order processing systems like AS400/SAP is essential, as well as knowledge of hardware, software, and RF troubleshooting. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, good communication abilities, and the physical ability to lift 50 pounds are necessary. Entry-level certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Azure, or AWS are preferred.
