Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Coordinator

About the role

Work on NYP’s own Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) at our four million square feet of state-of-the-art infrastructure as a Coordinator. In this role, you will maintain the CMMS system and develop reports for the Facilities Operations Department. You will be responsible for the operation and maintenance (troubleshooting) activities associated with the CMMS software, instruct staff in its general use, and keep current with new CMMS developments within the industry.

You will take an active role in periodic upgrades, continued development, and enhancement of the CMMS for monitoring and reporting departmental activities. This includes developing and updating the inventory of all present and newly acquired equipment, compiling information from engineering supervisory and management staff to automate scheduling of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and routine equipment rounds. You will distribute work orders to respective leaders and produce monthly Quality Assurance status reports of all preventive and corrective maintenance work orders issued.

This is a full-time day position located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the CMMS system and develop reports for the Facilities Operations Department.
• Troubleshoot and ensure the operation of CMMS software.
• Instruct staff in the general use of CMMS software and applications.
• Stay current with new CMMS developments within the industry.
• Participate in periodic upgrades and enhancements of the CMMS.
• Develop and continuously update the inventory of all equipment.
• Compile information to automate scheduling of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and routine equipment rounds.
• Distribute work orders to respective leaders.
• Produce monthly Quality Assurance status reports of all preventive and corrective maintenance work orders.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience coordinating and maintaining asset inventory utilizing a computerized maintenance management system in a healthcare facility or related business environment.
• Experience in data analysis in the facilities maintenance program, specifically in asset management, equipment failure analysis, and/or spare part optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience scheduling work orders utilizing CMMS.

Pay

Salary Range: $66,300–$89,000/Annual
