Computer Apps Trainer Sr / ALIS / Eglin AFB

About the role

Responsible for training and supporting military personnel on various computer applications and systems at Eglin Air Force Base. This includes conducting classroom and hands-on training sessions, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Conducting training sessions for new and existing users on software applications and systems.
• Providing technical assistance and troubleshooting to resolve user issues.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of new technologies and software updates.
• Documenting training materials and procedures for future reference.
• Ensuring all training activities comply with military regulations and policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in training and technical support roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of military protocols and procedures.
• Experience with ALIS (Air Logistics Information System).
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles.

Pay
