About the role

This position is part of the ALIS Mobile Training Team (MTT) at Eglin AFB, FL. You will conduct academic and on-the-job training (OJT) for F-35 ALIS Infrastructure courses at Eglin Air Force Base and other CONUS and OCONUS locations. The role requires willingness to travel domestically and internationally for extended periods up to 89 days at a time.

Responsibilities include delivering classroom lectures, providing laboratory demonstrations, monitoring computer-based training, and administering academics, testing, and evaluation. You will also provide remedial student training, revise and develop lesson plans and training materials, and update syllabi. As a consultant and spokesperson for the organization, you will develop solutions to complex problems and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

This role requires cross-training across multiple functions, including Database, Network, Systems, Security, and Mission Planning Administration, to train ALIS Administrators as a Multi-Function Information Systems Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Conduct academic and OJT training for F-35 ALIS Infrastructure courses at various CONUS and OCONUS locations.
• Deliver classroom lectures and laboratory demonstrations.
• Monitor computer-based training and administer testing and evaluation.
• Provide remedial student training.
• Revise and develop student training lesson plans, associated training materials, and syllabi.
• Develop innovative solutions to complex problems consistent with organizational objectives.
• Serve as a consultant and spokesperson for MTT policies, plans, and objectives.
• Cross-train across Database, Network, Systems, Security, and Mission Planning Administration functions.
• Train ALIS Administrators in a multi-function information systems analyst capacity.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of the operation and data collection of the F-35 Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS).
• 3+ years of experience using military Logistics Information Systems.
• Teaching experience conducting technical or formal classroom training.
• Experience in data administration, particularly in an Oracle environment.
• Experience in data management, backup/restore/disaster recovery processes, and database/application support.

Desired Skills

• Minimum five years of experience as a Data, System, or Network Administrator.
• Experience with Oracle 11g Software Suite or equivalent.
• Oracle 11g SQL experience or equivalent.
• VMware installation experience.
• Experience working with USN/USMC/USAF ALIS application software.
• ALIS 2.0.2 instructional experience in an OJT or hands-on environment.
• Ability to adapt to unique training environments at mobile training sites.
• Experience working with international partners.
• Proven experience working in a diverse functional team environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

For Washington state applicants only: Non-represented full-time employees accrue at least 10 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) per month and receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $65,200.00 - $121,200.00. The salary offered considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market considerations.
