Primary Responsibilities
- Perform design / CAD drafting work to assist with Engineering projects.
- Aid in obtaining relevant field data & measurements.
- Utilize relevant data when creating / adjusting workable construction blueprints.
- Ensure scheduling and productivity objectives are achieved.
- Perform field work on an as-needed basis; this person will be expected to work indoors as well as outdoors.
Basic Requirements
- A High School Diploma (or equivalent).
- 3+ years of professional experience working with Design and/or Drafting.
- This person may be expected to work in the field, as-needed, so they will be required to possess a Valid Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation.
- Pass a Background Check and Drug Test without issue.
Preferred Qualifications
- An Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering, Design Technology, or a related technical field of study is a plus (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Experience working on dry utility projects (e.g.: electrical power distribution, etc.).
- Proficiency with engineering / CADD tools, especially AutoCAD; experience with Bentley MicroStation is a plus (but we are willing to train individuals who are willing to learn).
- Proficiency on standard Microsoft Office software applications.
- Proven ability to utilize technical mathematics.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to work in a self-motivated manner while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written); proven active-listening skills is a plus!
