Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) Youth Advocate
About the role
The Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) Youth Advocate position is ideal for social work graduates, Bachelor’s or Master’s level, seeking to engage in case management and mental health work. The role requires the ability to provide psychoeducation or psychotherapy, and bilingual Spanish-speaking skills are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide service coordination and support aimed at reducing the impact of serious mental health challenges in youth and young adults.
- Work with a dedicated team of service providers to develop a strengths-based treatment and recovery plan tailored to the participant’s unique needs and goals.
- Administer ongoing services for mental illnesses, intellectual, developmental, and other disabilities, substance use disorders, or dual diagnoses that require more than occasional outpatient care but less than intensive inpatient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work.
- Experience in case management and mental health.
- Ability to provide psychoeducation or psychotherapy.
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills are preferred.
