Component Level Test Technician (US Citizenship required)

Pay

• $28.50/hr on W2 (2 PM – 10:30 PM shift)
• $29.55/hr on W2 (10 PM – 6:30 AM shift)

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• Training: 1st shift (6 AM – 2:30 PM) for 4–6 weeks
• Production shifts: 2 PM – 10:30 PM or 10 PM – 6:30 AM

Responsibilities

• Manual bench testing, set-up and operation of test equipment
• Input pedigree information on parts into the Factory Operating System (FOS)
• Create non-conformances in FOS for test failures
• Perform rework on assemblies
• Complete annual training in safety, hazardous materials, quality systems, and other required topics

Requirements

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g., GED) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience in power supplies, high-voltage systems, and test equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills (not limited to equipment operation)
• Experience in manufacturing, microelectronics, aerospace, or defense industry
• Familiarity with testing navigation and/or radar system assemblies
• Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical testing equipment
• Basic computer skills (MS Office Word/Excel/PowerPoint, email)
• Strong safety focus
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Effective communication and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing work needs
• Experience performing repetitive tasks in accordance with established processes
• In-process inspection per company standards and customer specifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with robotic testing equipment, Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), or high-voltage components
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, Kaizen, or lean manufacturing principles
• Experience working with diverse teams and production resources
• Demonstrated drive for continuous improvement
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Adherence to detailed work instructions and quality standards
