Responsibilities

  • Performs compliance program evaluations and reviews.
  • Aids in the tracking and reporting on program effectiveness and improvements.
  • Guides compliance activities organization-wide.
  • Aids in the drafting and updating of compliance-specific policies and procedures.
  • Conducts risk assessments and evaluations.
  • Aids in the monitoring and reporting of risk management activities and progress.
  • Guides operational areas to assess impact and determine necessary actions for identified regulatory changes.
  • Aids in the monitoring, reporting, and assessment of compliance with regulatory changes.
  • Investigates and tracks status of reported concerns or violations ensuring prompt resolution according to established turnaround time.
  • Communicates investigation findings to relevant parties.
  • Plans and determines scope of compliance audits.
  • Conducts fieldwork and testing compliance controls.
  • Documents audit findings and observations.
  • Collects and analyzes compliance data and metrics.
  • Prepares reports for core compliance activities to inform management and stakeholders.
  • Tracks compliance performance against established KPIs, identifying trends and patterns in the data.
  • Aids in investigating reported compliance concerns, gathering information, and conducting interviews.
  • Documents investigation findings and recommendations.
  • Performs root cause analyses of compliance deficiencies or violations.
  • Develops and documents compliance-specific corrective action plans.
  • Maintains accuracy of compliance files, logs, and documentation.
  • Stays informed about basic compliance standards relevant to the industry.
  • Attends meetings, educational conferences, and training workshops and serves on committees.
  • Maintains data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Completes special projects as assigned.
