What you'll do The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager, U.S. to support the development and day-to-day execution of Bitget’s U.S. compliance program across digital assets, futures and derivatives, and securities.This is a hands-on role working closely with the Head of Compliance, U.S., as well as Legal, Risk, Finance, Operations, Product, and Technology. The ideal candidate brings practical compliance experience within a regulated U.S. financial services environment and is comfortable supporting multiple regulatory frameworks, business lines, and new regulatory initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Head of Compliance in building, implementing, and maintaining the U.S. compliance framework across FCM, DCM/DCO, broker-dealer, and digital asset activities.Support day-to-day compliance requirements relating to customer onboarding, KYC/CIP and BSA/AML, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, customer communications, promotional activities, books and records, and regulatory reporting.Assist with compliance oversight across trading and financial activities, including customer asset protection, margin and risk controls, order handling, trade practices, and market conduct.Support trading compliance and surveillance activities, including electronic trading, order routing, position monitoring, exception reviews, and potentially manipulative or disruptive trading activity.Work with Finance, Treasury, Risk, and Operations to support regulatory capital, customer asset protection, segregation, clearing, liquidity, and other financial regulatory requirements.Partner with Product and Technology teams to translate compliance requirements into customer workflows, operational controls, surveillance processes, and product requirements.Prepare and maintain compliance policies, procedures, risk assessments, monitoring and testing documentation, employee training materials, and regulatory records.Support regulatory filings, examinations, information requests, and communications with CFTC, FINRA, state regulators, and applicable exchanges, as relevant.Assist with new regulatory license and registration applications, including preparation of application materials, policies and procedures, regulatory responses, and readiness activities.Conduct compliance monitoring and testing, identify potential issues or control gaps, and coordinate remediation with relevant business teams.Support oversight of affiliates and third-party service providers performing compliance-related functions.Monitor relevant regulatory developments and assist in assessing their impact on Bitget’s U.S. business. What you'll need 5+ years of relevant compliance experience within regulated financial services, including experience at an FCM, broker-dealer, derivatives exchange or clearing firm, digital asset firm, fintech, financial institution, or financial regulator.Hands-on experience with one or more U.S. regulatory frameworks, such as CFTC/NFA, FINRA/SEC, DCM/exchange, BSA/AML, state MTL, or digital asset regulation.Exposure to multiple regulatory frameworks or regulated business lines is a strong plus.Practical understanding of financial markets, trading, customer onboarding, regulatory reporting, compliance monitoring, or customer asset protection.Experience preparing or maintaining compliance policies, procedures, regulatory filings, monitoring and testing documentation, or examination materials.Experience supporting regulatory examinations, inquiries, or new license/registration applications is a plus.Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical operational and business processes.Strong attention to detail, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.Ability to work effectively across Legal, Operations, Risk, Finance, Product, and Technology teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
