Compliance Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Aid in organizing and conducting initial reviews of background checks for potential timekeeper candidates.
- Track and resolve issues from identification through completion.
- Support monitoring of attorney licensing compliance.
- Handle compliance inquiries from firm attorneys and business professionals.
- Create and maintain databases.
- Conduct public record research using public websites.
- Research and compile information from various internal firm sources for OGC projects.
- Prepare a variety of documents, forms, charts, letters, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and database experience.
- Experience in a law firm or similar environment supporting paralegals and/or attorneys.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effectively communicate with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
- Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence efficiently and accurately.
- Provide timely, accurate, and high-quality work products.
- Meet deadlines and fulfill job duties as required.
- Foster positive work relationships.
- Comply with all firm policies and practices.
- Engage in physical and sedentary activity, including working at a computer for extended periods.
- Work under pressure and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.
- Sedentary work: Sitting most of the time, occasionally lifting up to 10 pounds.

The individual selected for this position may have the opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement comprised of remote and in-office work, the requirement for which will be determined in coordination with the hiring manager or supervisor and may be modified in the firm’s discretion in the future.

Non-exempt positions will be paid on an hourly basis and paid overtime in accordance with applicable laws. The compensation offered for employment will also be dependent on other factors including the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications.
