About the role
The Lewisville Juvenile Treatment Center (L.J.T.C) is seeking a Compliance / Staff Trainer to join our dedicated team. Located in the serene setting of rural Lafayette County, L.J.T.C. is committed to transforming the lives of at-risk young males through a structured environment that promotes self-discipline, self-respect, and motivation.
Responsibilities
- Create and enforce compliance policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of the youth.
- Train staff on compliance standards and best practices.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff on topics such as PREA (Prison Rape Elimination Act) and CARF.
- Support the development and implementation of educational programs for youth.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency in policies and procedures.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree.
- At least 4 years of experience in auditing and training.
- PREFERRED: Knowledge in PREA (Prison Rape Elimination Act) and CARF.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test.
- Pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.
- Meet requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having an active Driver’s License.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working with youth and understanding their needs.
- Knowledge of juvenile justice systems and best practices.

Schedule
