Complex Pediatric Otolaryngologist
About the role
This role offers the chance to join a mission-driven organization known for clinical excellence, robust support, and a collegial practice environment. We are seeking a Fellowship trained Pediatric Otolaryngologist to augment our robust service line.
Responsibilities
- Treats a full spectrum of pediatric otolaryngology conditions at Providence Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital, which has 160 beds including full NICU and PICU services.
- Collaborates with an aerodigestive team consisting of specialists in gastroenterology, pulmonology, genetics, and speech language pathology to deliver coordinated care for complex presentations.
- Delivers "bread and butter" outpatient pediatric otolaryngology in the Ambulatory Surgery Center owned by Columbia Surgical Specialists and housed within our main outpatient clinical facility.
- Provides call coverage on a 1 in 10 basis without facial trauma requirements.
Requirements
- Fellowship trained in Pediatric Otolaryngology.
- Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Otolaryngology.
- Experience in treating complex pediatric otolaryngology cases.
- Ability to work in a mission-driven, collegial practice environment.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree.
- Current license to practice medicine in Washington State.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills in pediatric otolaryngology.

- Ability to manage a busy caseload efficiently.

Pay
Starting salary is competitive, a bonus program augments it, there is no state income tax, and full benefits are included. Compensation is between $400,000 and $600,000 per year. The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
Schedule
The ENT group consists of ~10 otolaryngologists (with subspecialists in H&N/microvascular, rhinology/anterior skull base, and pediatrics), 3 midlevel providers, and 7 audiologists. Call is about 1 in 10 without facial trauma requirements. Most physicians hold academic positions with the University of Washington as well as Washington State University, both of which have medical students who complete all 4 years of school in Spokane.
