Complex Litigation/Class Actions Associate Attorney (Mid-Level)
About the role
The Complex Litigation + Advisement Practice Group at MoFo is seeking a high-performing attorney with 3-5 years of experience in class action defense, particularly in consumer class actions, unfair competition law, and related areas. The ideal candidate will have experience with class certification, summary judgment, drafting briefs, and managing e-discovery.
Responsibilities
- Defend consumer class actions including false advertising, product defect, breach of warranty, and violations of consumer protection laws
- Handle unfair competition law cases
- Prepare and argue class certification motions and summary judgment
- Draft and respond to written discovery requests
- Conduct depositions, oral arguments, and interviews with experts
- Manage electronic discovery processes

- Admitted to practice in California or Washington State
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong case management and work ethic
