Complex Litigation Associate Attorney - Senior

About the role

We are seeking a senior-level associate (7-9 years of experience) to join our Chambers-ranked product liability team, defending clients in high-stakes, complex litigation matters of national and international significance, with an emphasis on the aviation and transportation industry sectors.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases and teams through all stages of litigation, including pre-trial discovery, motions practice, experts, and trial
• Manage complex cases with minimal oversight
• Examine complex legal issues, such as jurisdictional, choice-of-law, and admiralty law issues
• Work on some of the largest, most challenging matters for blue-chip companies worldwide

Requirements

• Excellent writing skills, demonstrated by experience gained through a clerkship, law review, moot court, or publication
• Superior academic credentials and references
• Willingness to commit to excellent client service and a client-centered practice
• Comfort with analyzing complex legal issues
• Clerkship experience, especially at the appellate level, is strongly preferred

Qualifications

• 7-9 years of experience
• Experience managing cases and teams through all stages of litigation
• Strong interest in aviation and/or technical background in aerospace, mechanical engineering, computer science, or life sciences

Skills

• Excellent writing skills
• Ability to manage complex cases with minimal oversight
• Comfort with analyzing complex legal issues
• Clerkship experience, especially at the appellate level
