About the role

We are seeking a senior-level associate (7-9 years of experience) to join our Chambers-ranked product liability team, defending clients in high-stakes, complex litigation matters of national and international significance, with an emphasis on the aviation and transportation industry sectors. This posting is open to all US offices.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases and teams through all stages of litigation, including pre-trial discovery, motions practice, experts, and trial.
• Handle complex cases with minimal oversight.
• Analyze complex legal issues, such as jurisdictional, choice-of-law, and admiralty law matters.
• Commit to excellent client service and a client-centered practice.

Requirements

• Excellent writing skills, demonstrated by experience gained through a clerkship, law review, moot court, or publication.
• Superior academic credentials and references.
• Clerkship experience, especially at the appellate level, is strongly preferred.
• Candidates with a strong interest in aviation and/or a technical background in aerospace or mechanical engineering, computer science, or life sciences are especially encouraged to apply.
