We are seeking a mid-level associate (4-6 years of experience) to join our complex litigation group, defending clients in high-stakes, complex litigation matters of national and international significance, with an emphasis on product liability and commercial matters involving the aviation and transportation industry sectors. This position is open to all US offices.

Qualifications

  • Excellent writing skills, demonstrated by experience gained through a clerkship, law review, moot court or publication
  • Experience with all stages of litigation, including pre-trial discovery, motions practice, working with experts, and trial
  • Superior academic credentials
  • Willingness to commit to excellent client service and a client-centered practice
  • Comfort with analyzing complex legal issues, for example contractual, jurisdictional, choice-of-law, and admiralty law issues

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clerkship experience, especially at the appellate level, is strongly preferred
  • Candidates with a strong interest in the field of aviation, and/or a technical background in aerospace or mechanical engineering, computer science, or life sciences are especially encouraged to apply, although such interest or experience is not a prerequisite

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual Compensation Range: $310,000 to $390,000
