Complex Claim Director - Employment Practices Liability

About the role

Join us as a Complex Claim Director - Employment Practices Liability (EPL) to play your part in transforming the way we help customers manage risk.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of complex Employment Practice Liability claims, including Directors & Officers Lability, from inception through conclusion.
• Make coverage determinations, investigate losses, evaluate potential exposures, and set judgmental reserves.
• Develop and implement resolution strategies, collaborate with defense counsel, and deliver differentiated value and service to customers and distribution partners.

Requirements

• A minimum of six or more years of experience handling complex insurance claims, litigation, or related experience.
• Excellent negotiation skills, strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of the litigation and arbitration process.
• Juris Doctor preferred.

Qualifications

• Base salary ranges from $120,000 to $150,000 depending on location.
• The position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
