Responsibilities
- Participates in salary and benefit surveys and annually updates job specific market rates in accordance with the Company’s market pricing strategy.
- Performs job evaluation and market pricing for new jobs and annually for existing jobs.
- Affords assistance in the development of compensation budgets.
- Tracks employee compensation costs against pre-set budget.
- Administers the annual Total Cash Compensation Planning program in conjunction with payroll to include system design and set-up and various management roll up reports used to allocate base salary increases as well as bonus and incentive compensation.
- Conducts various compensation analyses to build compensation budgets, provide compensation, and determine internal and external pay equity.
- Presents and communicates compensation programs to management, HR stakeholders, and others.
- Conducts appropriate employee training, to include Compensation Philosophy Training for managers and employees and any related systems training.
- Leads all system updates for employee Total Rewards Statements and communication.
- Oversees the Company recognition program.
- Performs other duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related experience or equivalent.
- Equivalent is defined as 12 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant experience includes the following:
- Compensation Program Design and Administration
- Compensation Analysis
- Job Evaluation/Market Pricing
- Salary Structure Development and maintenance
- Compensation Communication
- Incentive Plan Design and administration
- Project Management
- Proficiency with HRIS systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate with HR peers and business stakeholders
- Advanced problem-solving skills required to research, analyze and troubleshoot data, process and workflow issues
