About the role

The Guardian’s Group Distribution Compensation team is seeking a Sales Compensation Analyst, Strategy for 2026. Ideal candidates will leverage data analytics to drive sales results through innovative incentive compensation programs.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage data from multiple sources using advanced tools and techniques including Microsoft Copilot and Excel to produce highly accurate analytical results with minimal guidance.
  • Build presentations that tell a story that internal stakeholders can easily understand using data-driven insights.
  • Design, track, analyze, and communicate annual incentive plans and broker compensation programs to motivate distribution and brokers to achieve/exceed sales and retention goals.
  • Aid in the development, review, and distribution of detailed compensation plan documents for various incentive-based roles in partnership with HR and legal teams.
  • Data collect and analyze compensation information for benchmarking Guardian compensation plans and aid in the creative design of new rewards programs to drive sales results in alignment with Guardian’s strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of procedures, processes, and controls, utilizing Microsoft Copilot for drafting, standardizing, and updating documentation efficiently.
  • Manage competing priorities, delivering output within established deadlines, and quickly pivot as dictated by business needs.
  • Respond to inquiries from internal distribution customers in a timely and professional manner, enhancing customer experience through personalized and efficient communication.
  • Aid in supporting ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed by the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Strong analytical background, including the ability to analyze compensation programs and data, identify anomalies and trends, and leverage AI-powered tools and insights.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and proficiency in Microsoft Copilot for automating tasks, generating reports, and supporting data analysis.
  • Experience in incentive compensation within a sales environment and/or a solid understanding of compensation design is a plus.
  • A self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently with minimal direction, while proactively utilizing Guardian resources to enhance productivity and decision-making.
  • Strong organizational skills, responsiveness to deadlines, and meticulous attention to detail are critical.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and make decisions using sound judgment.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously, effectively prioritizing tasks with the support of your leader.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including proficiency in using Microsoft Copilot for drafting and refining content.
  • A high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Salary range: $59,110.00 - $88,660.00
  • Annual, sales, or other incentive compensation may be eligible
