Compensation Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis

Responsibilities

  • Oversight and execution of position management activities and governance
  • Maintain cost targets
  • Ensure accurate and timely position, headcount, and compensation data within Workday and related systems
  • Provide comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
  • Evaluate firm performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Monitor progress against approved compensation plans and proactively surface risks, issues, and trade-offs
  • Produce recurring standard work including financial reporting packages/analysis for CFO/Leadership team
  • Support the design and development efforts to implement innovative solutions to enable growth, enhance decision-making and drive efficiency
  • Serve as a trusted Finance advisor in compensation-related discussions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • Demonstrable (3-5+ years) relevant work experience in analytical roles, with a proven track record of process improvement, innovation, and disciplined execution
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with proven ability to interpret complex data and provide forward-looking analysis & recommendations
  • Advanced technical skills (e.g. Excel, Workday, Power BI, Tableau) are strongly preferred; demonstrated interest in leveraging AI tools to automate processes, reporting and analysis; Anaplan experience is a nice to have
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
