Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

Responsibilities

• Leads in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans
• Supports the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting within given deadlines
• Mets with budget leaders regularly to support forecast/budget goals
• Analyzes financial data to identify variances, trends, and opportunities for improvement
• Updates financial schedules monthly/quarterly/yearly in a timely manner
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis
• Continuously improves financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Provides regular communication of various project status to finance leaders
• Prepares ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting and reporting, business operations or a similar role
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications required
• Financial modeling and analytical skills are strongly preferred
• Experience in Aderant, Big-Hand Iridium Budget preferred
• Experience building Power BI Models preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
