About the role
This role provides analytical and technical support for the compensation function, including plan administration, data collection, analysis, and reporting. Supporting our strategic Business Units, including Corporate Functions, within Trane Technologies Americas, the ideal candidate will leverage strong analytical skills, consult and communicate effectively, and be eager to grow and learn within the Compensation team.
Where is the work: Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis of external market data and internal pay equity for job evaluations, internal equity reviews, and other compensation-related projects.
- Support Compensation program administration, including annual compensation planning, merit review, and hourly wage structure review.
- Develop and maintain standard work related to the Total Rewards function.
- Provide expertise in base pay management and job analysis to attract and retain top talent.
- Proactively partner with HR business partners and business leadership to ensure company compliance with federal, state, and local laws/regulations.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the compensation function.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of compensation and role architecture strategies to support business growth strategies.
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience (Human Resources, Compensation, Financial, Data & Analytics).
- Bachelor’s degree and CCP Preferred.
- Knowledge or ability to learn federal, state, and local laws/regulations and employment practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conduct and interpret complex analyses with large data sets.
- Effective time management skills to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills.
- Advanced Excel capabilities.

Annual Base Salary Range: $56,300.00 - $101,394.99
