Compensation Analyst

Piper Companies is seeking a Compensation Analyst to support a leader in the American tobacco manufacturing industry for a hybrid role (2 days per week onsite) based in Greensboro, NC. This is a 6-month contract position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market benchmarking using survey data platforms, PayScale, Mercer’s MarketPay, and Willis Towers Watson survey tools
• Assist in the design and assessment of job architecture, salary structures, and pay ranges
• Review job descriptions to align positions within leveling frameworks
• Manage and administer the employee stock purchase plan

Requirements

• 2+ years of previous compensation experience
• Experience with benchmarking survey tools like PayScale, MarketPay, and Willis Towers Watson
• Strong Excel experience (e.g., Pivot Tables)
• Prior experience with salary structures and market trend analysis
