Compensation Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business units to manage and maintain the Bank's compensation program and practices.
  • Support base salary administration.
  • Support incentive plan administration.
  • Participate in external market surveys to maintain competitive pay practices.
  • Support the annual performance and compensation review processes.
  • Conduct comprehensive internal and external market analyses.
  • Evaluate jobs to assign appropriate salary grades and classification.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business, or related field; and/or equivalent work experience required.
  • 4 years of experience in human resources or related field required; focus in compensation or payroll strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. Tableau, Excel) required.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Powerpoint, Outlook) required.
  • Financial services industry experience highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of general ledger classifications and accounting principles preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Excel required, including development of spreadsheets with formulas, functions, pivot tables and lookups.
  • Extensive experience with Cornerstone or other HRIS strongly preferred.
  • Effective oral and written communication in individual and group settings.
  • Effective consulting skills to engage with business stakeholders, understand their needs, and provide actionable compensation solutions.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Must be highly organized.
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment for various customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential, highly sensitive information with discretion.

Pay

The salary range for the role is $72,000 - $85,000/yr; commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (hours may vary)
