About the role

The Compassion Support Manager (& Safeguarding Lead) will carry responsibility for the vision, leadership, delivery and development of the Open Door project and wider Compassion Support Services (person centred support).

Responsibilities

• Carry responsibility for the vision, leadership, delivery and development of the Open Door project and wider Compassion Support Services (person centred support).
• Lead, develop, and manage staff and service delivery to offer practical help and emotional support to vulnerable individuals and families in the community who are experiencing a range of complex needs.
• Carry responsibility as the VC Safeguarding Lead, both functioning as a Designated Safeguarding Officer and overseeing the other DSO’s.

You will enjoy supporting people as they develop healthy, independent living skills, taking a journey alongside them as they deal with issues in their lives which have prevented them from doing this.
