About the role
The Compassion Support Manager (& Safeguarding Lead) will carry responsibility for the vision, leadership, delivery and development of the Open Door project and wider Compassion Support Services (person centred support).
Responsibilities
- Carry responsibility for the vision, leadership, delivery and development of the Open Door project and wider Compassion Support Services (person centred support).
- Lead, develop, and manage staff and service delivery to offer practical help and emotional support to vulnerable individuals and families in the community who are experiencing a range of complex needs.
- Carry responsibility as the VC Safeguarding Lead, both functioning as a Designated Safeguarding Officer and overseeing the other DSO’s.

As an anti-poverty charity, Vineyard Compassion are looking for someone who is passionate about social justice, tackling local poverty and seeing people move from crisis to full potential. You will enjoy supporting people as they develop healthy, independent living skills, taking a journey alongside them as they deal with issues in their lives which have prevented them from doing this.
Qualifications
