About the role
PAM Transport, Inc. is seeking experienced truck drivers for home weekly positions in North Haven, CT. This role offers competitive pay and benefits, including up to 3% match on 401(k), retirement plan, and paid time off.
Responsibilities
- Drive company-owned vehicles
- Maintain safety standards and follow all company policies
- Load and unload cargo safely
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- No DWI/DUI within the last 5 years
- At least 12 months (1 year) experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position
- Or at least 3 months of experience in the last year and completion of an accredited school program
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- Pass a drug screening and background check
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical condition for long hours on the road

Pay
The pay range for this position is $0.55–$0.65 per mile, based on your experience level and total miles driven. Final compensation may vary depending on program details and additional factors such as completed training, endorsements, tenure, work schedule, and overall performance.
