Compact Equipment Sales Specialist
Responsibilities
- Selling compact equipment
- Rent compact and contractor equipment
- Demo units to accounts
- Increase market share
- Turn in sales reports / hotlists
- Collect money on past due rental and sales
- Maintain expected sales goals
- Maintain expected rental goals
- Communicate with management on demand in market
- Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of previous related experience
- Must reside in Lake or Seminole Counties
- Outstanding sales skills is a must
- A basic understanding of financing is desired
- Excellent time management skills
- Able to multi-task and solve problems
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Professionalism is a must
- Safety awareness is essential
- Knowledge of construction equipment, their application, and safety
- Good computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Intermediate: Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Intermediate: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to operate skid steers, mini excavators, compact wheel loaders, telehandlers, compactors, and specialized attachments for construction equipment.
About the Role
Our construction equipment group is seeking a full-time Compact Equipment Specialist to cover the Lake and Seminole, Florida counties. This position will be responsible for developing and growing the compact market and increasing the market share in the territory.
Requirements
