Equipment Sales Specialist

Essential Functions

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
  • Proficient at working the sales cycle through each stage to include Prospecting, Qualifying, Presentation/Quoting and Closing
  • Identify new qualifying opportunities through incoming leads, cold calling and prospecting, tradeshows, networking, and meetings
  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline, tracking all leads, proposals, and current deals using CRM software
  • Follow up regularly with leads and prospects to ensure opportunities are being actively pursued
  • Identify all influencers and decision makers; determine the decision process and understand where we bring value to each opportunity
  • Ability to drive both transactional and consultative sales process based on each unique opportunity

  • Technical knowledge of each major product/application category to include washer extractors, tunnel washers, dryers, folding and finishing equipment, water system components, lifts and mezzanines and RFID systems

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This position primarily is completed in an office environment with some exposure to industrial environments. The use of PPE is required when working/visiting industrial environments.

Physical Demands

  • May be required to sit for extended periods of time while demonstrating manual dexterity to accurately work on the telephone, computer keyboard, and other equipment
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds in the form of boxes of supplies or product components
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle is required

Travel

Travel may be required to meet with equipment owners, attend conferences and attend other business-related meetings. Travel is anticipated to be less than 25%.
