Equipment Salesperson

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate and sell multiple lines of equipment
  • Develop and maintain customer relations
  • Visiting residential and commercial properties to assess equipment needs
  • Complete sales calls to identify potential customers and establish contact
  • Complete sales related documents
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support
  • Negotiate and close sales deals
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions
  • Stay current on product lines and market trends
  • Attend trade shows and promote our equipment
  • Offer extended warranties, maintenance plans, and additional product accessories

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of agriculture industry, equipment, basic mechanics, and local market
  • Basic knowledge of sales documents and equipment financing
  • General computer use, including spreadsheets, and use of a dealership management program
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a company vehicle
  • Advanced sales and customer service skills
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
