Responsibilities
- Demonstrate and sell multiple lines of equipment
- Develop and maintain customer relations
- Visiting residential and commercial properties to assess equipment needs
- Complete sales calls to identify potential customers and establish contact
- Complete sales related documents
- Provide exceptional customer service and support
- Negotiate and close sales deals
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions
- Stay current on product lines and market trends
- Attend trade shows and promote our equipment
- Offer extended warranties, maintenance plans, and additional product accessories
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of agriculture industry, equipment, basic mechanics, and local market
- Basic knowledge of sales documents and equipment financing
- General computer use, including spreadsheets, and use of a dealership management program
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a company vehicle
- Advanced sales and customer service skills
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Exceptional time management and organization skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
