About the role
The City of Plano is seeking a Community Services Grants Administrator to oversee and coordinate the department's HUD and City grant programs. This role involves supervising a team that supports the community through adaptability, professionalism, relationship-focused service, and outcome-based results.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a team dedicated to managing HUD and City grant programs
- Oversee the implementation and administration of grant-funded projects
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure grant objectives are met
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with grantors and stakeholders
- Prepare and present reports on grant program progress and outcomes
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to grants
- Manage grant budgets and monitor expenditures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant management or related field
- Experience working with HUD and City grant programs
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
The target annual salary range for the Community Services Grants Administrator is between $75,000 - $80,000, depending on qualifications.
Schedule
The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional events falling on evenings and weekends.
