About the role
The Jefferson County Department of Social Services is hiring Community Service Workers to assist staff and clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform supportive services related to the various programs administered by the department of Social Services.
Requirements
- Either: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma.
- Special Requirement: Appointees may be required to possess a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in New York State or otherwise demonstrate their ability to meet the transportation needs of the job.
Qualifications
This is a Hiring Emergency Limited Placement (HELP) Program appointment. This is a non-competitive permanent appointment, and the Civil Service exam will be waived.
