Community Services Support Worker
About the role
The Community Services Support Worker provides personal, physical and emotional support to aged care and NDIS clients, helping them with daily living activities and improving their wellbeing and independence within the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support with daily living activities
- Aid with personal care, meals, transport, and domestic tasks
- Support clients' physical, social, and emotional wellbeing
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, and the team
- Complete reports and maintain accurate records
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
- Criminal History Check (recent within 3 months)
- A current Working with Children’s Card
- A current unrestricted and valid Driver’s Licence
- A Current First Aid Certificate (Essential or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (desirable or ability to obtain)
