The class of Customer Service Representative I is the entry and working level in the customer service series. Supervision is received from a Cashiering or Customer Service Supervisor; training is received from supervisors, Senior Customer Service Representatives, and Customer Service Representatives II and III.
What You'll Be Doing Here
To perform entry level and/or routine duties of the customer service unit; serve as the first line of customer support, responsible for providing information, addressing complaints and customer requests; and to perform related work as required.
What You Need to Qualify
A complete Job Description may be reviewed on the City’s website (www.sbcity.org) under Departments/Human Resources/Job Classifications and salaries. Licenses, Certificates, Special Requirements Must possess a valid California Class C driver’s license. A typing speed of 30 wpm is required.
Education/Experience: Graduation from high school or GED. One (1) year of recent customer service work involving public contact in person or over the telephone and maintaining customer account records. Bilingual Preferred
