The Community Service Officer (CSO) program has been a beneficial program to the Fond du Lac Police Department for many years. Because of the combined experience with our CSO program and their post-secondary education, many of our former CSO's have become successful police officers throughout Wisconsin. If you are eager to become part of a cohesive team where your community contributions are recognized and the team's success is celebrated, please consider becoming a CSO with the Fond du Lac Police Department.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Fond du Lac Police Department with community relations
- Assist with district policing initiatives
- Assist with urban blight reduction
- Assist with crime prevention and community service activities
- Assist with special events
- Assist with parking enforcement
- Assist with scene security
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Possession of a valid Wisconsin driver's license with a good driving record
- Geographic knowledge of the City of Fond du Lac
- Ability to interact with the public in a respectful, professional manner
Pay
$18.55 per hour
Schedule
Part-time, 20 hours per week
