Community Schools Implementation VISTA-UWGLV
Member Duties
The CS Implementation AmeriCorst VISTA will support the Directors of CS Implementation by researching and synthesizing best practices aligned with needs emerging from Core Team meetings, focusing on areas such as strengthening interpersonal dynamics and communication, and implementing proven strategies to improve school outcomes like literacy and chronic absenteeism. The VISTA will analyze core team feedback to identify priority challenges, conduct research to surface actionable strategies, and document these approaches in a format for easy sharing across the Community Schools team. Additionally, the VISTA will research and support the development of content for monthly CSCD training sessions, prepare facilitation plans for effective delivery, and help create a more efficient and consistent system for capturing and documenting core team meeting notes to strengthen knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
