United Way Training and Capacity Building VISTA-UWGLV
About the role
The Training and Capacity Building AmeriCorps VISTA will support United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley’s training and capacity-building efforts by helping coordinate, facilitate, and strengthen systems that ensure trainings are delivered with quality, consistency, and fidelity. The VISTA will assist in creating and implementing infrastructure to coordinate UWGLV trainings, co-facilitate sessions and provide administrative support, and represent UWGLV at community events and coalitions to build trust, awareness, and partnerships. In addition, the VISTA will research best practices in facilitation, training, and capacity building, and support data collection and management processes to track participation, assess effectiveness, and inform continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate trainings to ensure quality, consistency, and fidelity.
- Create and implement infrastructure to coordinate UWGLV trainings.
- Co-facilitate sessions and provide administrative support.
- Represent UWGLV at community events and coalitions to build trust, awareness, and partnerships.
- Research best practices in facilitation, training, and capacity building.
- Support data collection and management processes to track participation, assess effectiveness, and inform continuous improvement.
