Responsibilities
- Works with programming and monitoring resources at school.
- Makes sure the resources are helping students learn and feel better about school.
- Ensures the school follows all the rules and laws.
- Helps teachers use good teaching methods that work for all students.
- Plans extra learning activities for students based on what they need.
- Finds ways to help students grow emotionally and socially.
- Communicates important things to the right people.
- Develops surveys and gathers information to help improve student learning.
- Meets with others to make sure the school is doing well.
- Helps schools make agreements and follow rules for working together.
- Supports students, families, and teachers to have equal chances to learn.
- Plans big ideas for the school and gets everyone involved.
- Works to get money and support for the school from different places.
- Attends meetings when needed.
- May drive a car to do work.
- Does clerical tasks like writing letters and organizing papers.
- Follows safety rules and keeps secrets.
- Works on time and helps others at the school.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Five (5) years of related experience working in public education or non-profit.
- Or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Maintains a valid state issued driver’s license.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Good speaking and writing skills to talk to students, teachers, parents, and others.
- Good planning and organizing skills to manage tasks.
- Ability to use computers to make training materials and talk to people.
- Understanding of how schools can work well with families and communities.
