This position is based in Bronx, 10453.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of Community School Program services.
• Support the Attendance Initiative and track program attendance.
• Support office needs, program inventory, and other program requirements.
• Serve as a program liaison and assist with communication and community outreach efforts.
• Assist in the support and supervision of program activities and events.
• React productively to change and handle other essential tasks assigned by the Community School Director (CSD) and Assistant Director.
• Assist the CSD with planning, implementation, and development through communication with the Parent Coordinator and other staff.
• Support extended recreational school activities and help with planning and implementing events and school support.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience providing educational or recreational activities for children.
• Ability to interact in a supportive and nurturing manner with both children and parents.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, temporary part-time.
