About the role
The Community School Program Aide will assist in outreach and collaborative efforts, primarily supporting Attendance and assisting with direction from the Community School Director. Responsibilities include supporting extended recreational school activities, helping with the planning and implementation of events and activities, and providing school support. The role involves tracking program attendance and supporting the Program Director and Assistant Director in office and program functions.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of Community School Program services
- Support Attendance Initiative
- Support office needs, program inventory, and program requirements
- Serve as program liaison and assist with communication and community outreach efforts
- Assist in support and supervision of program activities and events
- React productively to change and handle other essential tasks assigned by the Community School Director and Assistant Director
- Assist the Community School Director with planning, implementation, and support development through communication with the Parent Coordinator and other staff
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma required; College preferred
- Two (2) years of experience providing educational/recreational activities for children
- Ability to interact in a supportive and nurturing manner with both children and parents
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus
