About the role

Join a group of individuals united by a common purpose at Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland. We build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place, serving over 5,000 girls and 3,000 adult volunteers. As a Community Recruiter, you will organize one-time events offering simple Girl Scout activities, boost community awareness, and strengthen Girl Scouts' position as community leaders.

Responsibilities

• Organize events designed to engage the community and promote Girl Scout activities
• Nurture leads and assist with event scheduling
• Support new members through placement in a local troop or the start of a new troop
• Focus on membership recruitment and retention in your assigned area
• Collaborate with staff to ensure potential members are supported and volunteers are prepared to deliver a high-quality Girl Scout Leadership Experience

Requirements

• Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Extensive travel up to 70 miles one way from your work location
• Position works 20-25 hours per week

Pay

Hourly rate: $19.00–$19.50

Schedule

20–25 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.

Hiring for two to three positions focusing on the Cape Girardeau, Dexter, and Sikeston areas.
