Community Practice (Generalist) Radiologist
Position Summary
Dartmouth Health is seeking a full-time community practice (generalist) radiologist to join our Regional Radiology Division. The position is available at the level of an Assistant, Associate, or (Full) Professor, depending on experience. The regional radiology radiologists cover a broad range of diagnostic imaging studies, including ultrasounds, CT, MRIs, and X-rays. There is no overnight call (which is covered by a dedicated group).
About the Role
The selected candidate will join Dartmouth Health’s 60 attending radiologists. We are an internationally known Department with a deep history in the field, beginning with acquiring the first clinically x-ray in the United States in 1896. Since then, we have continued an upward trajectory growing in breadth and depth and expanding our services across New England.
Responsibilities
- Cover a broad range of diagnostic imaging studies, including ultrasounds, CT, MRIs, and X-rays.
- No overnight call (covered by a dedicated group).
- Perform minor procedures such as joint injections, paracentesis/thoracentesis, and superficial biopsies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and engage in patient consultations to discuss imaging results and address concerns.
- Engage in professional development through participation in national societies and organizations, if of interest.
- Teach residents to a variable degree, mostly driven by personal interest.
Requirements
- Diagnostic Radiology Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- The ability to be appointed at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or full Professor rank, depending on experience.
- Obtain and maintain a medical license in both New Hampshire and Vermont.

Benefits
For a 1.0 Full-Time Equivalent position, the annual salary range is $578,000 to $606,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement, time off, and CME support). A sign-on bonus and a relocation stipend may also be available, subject to eligibility. Generous retirement programs with institutional-contributions (above and beyond salary) and a matching program. Pay
Annual salary range: $578,000 to $606,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
