About the role

Greenlight Networks is seeking a Community Outreach Coordinator to connect our brand with local communities. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships, engage with stakeholders, and promote our high-speed fiber internet services.

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with community organizations, municipal leaders, and local stakeholders.
  • Plan, coordinate, and host community events to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Represent Greenlight Networks at local events and networking functions.
  • Develop and execute region-specific social media strategies to increase engagement and drive sign-ups.
  • Identify and pursue local marketing opportunities, including grassroots campaigns and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and business development teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand positioning.
  • Maintain and report on community feedback and engagement.
  • Execute tactical marketing efforts such as door-to-door engagement and localized campaigns.
  • Manage social media programs tailored to each community.
  • Support internal teams in developing and executing go-to-market social media campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in community engagement, event coordination, or grassroots marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to speak persuasively and present information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with tools such as Canva, HubSpot, Microsoft Office Suite, and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Nextdoor, etc.).
  • Knowledge and experience of emerging social media platforms.
  • Willingness to work flexible, non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to lift and transport event materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
