Community Nutrition Associate

About the role

Provides Authentic Guest Service in the community setting while under the direction of the Nutritional Services Manager and Lead. Focuses on providing and preparing nutritious and well-presented food for the areas in patient services, retail cafe, catering and patient tray delivery. Additional responsibilities may include point of sale and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Focuses on providing and preparing nutritious and well-presented food for various areas including patient services, retail cafe, catering, and patient tray delivery.
• Handles point of sale and cash transactions as needed.
• Maintains excellence in the appearance and quality of all foods served, adhering to Food Safety regulations and sanitation guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Able to work independently using critical thinking skills.
• Must be 16 years of age.
