About the role

The Manager of Community Operations plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of Mark-Taylor's luxury multi-family communities. Reporting directly to the Director of Community Operations, this position is responsible for maintaining the quality of life within the communities by overseeing maintenance repairs and community upkeep.

Responsibilities

  • Handle maintenance repairs and contribute to the upkeep of the community
  • Meet or exceed targeted revenue expectations by setting rent rates, managing operating expenses, and monitoring aged delinquency
  • Prepare and review monthly financial reports with intuitive forecasting and a proactive plan for the financial performance of the asset
  • Coach, mentor, and inspire a team of administrative and service personnel, coordinating their activities and individual goals through tactical planning
  • Oversee the hiring process and ongoing employee performance management through courageous conversations and applicable HR processes
  • Conduct regular property inspections, propose, and own the resolution plan and execution of property enhancements

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Community Manager, or similar title, in the luxury multi-family industry
  • 3rd-party management experience required
  • 3+ years people management experience
  • 3+ years operational experience in luxury multifamily setting
  • Demonstrated coaching and development ability
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Financial acumen with high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills and professional presence
  • Experience using Resman, Yardi, or similar platforms is especially desirable
  • A basic understanding of written and verbal English

Pay

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $70,000-75,000/year. In addition to your base pay, you will be eligible to receive bonuses based on achievement of operational metrics.

Schedule

Full-time position.
