Community Manager - Verano Townhomes

About the role

Greystar is a leading real estate platform offering property management, investment management, development, and construction services in institutional-quality rental housing. This role involves managing and operating an apartment community, resolving customer complaints, and coordinating the work of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provides input into the development of budget(s) for the property
• Maintains targeted revenues by setting rent rates, collecting and posting rent and fees, and preparing financial status reports
• Approves invoices and manages petty cash fund
• Oversees lease enforcement, including approving applications, renewals, inspections, evictions, and late fees
• Gathers and analyzes market trends to implement marketing and leasing strategies
• Promotes resident satisfaction and retention through timely responses to complaints and service issues
• Supervises property staff and ensures compliance with company standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field preferred
• 4-6 years of relevant experience managing apartment communities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with strong supervisory skills

Specialized Skills

• Licenses and certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions
• Proficiency in property management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite)
• Management and supervisory skills sufficient to hire, lead, and evaluate team members

Travel / Physical Demands

• Frequent exposure to outside elements
• Physical access to all exterior and interior parts of the property and amenities
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
• Routine, local travel may be required
