About the role
Greystar is a leading real estate platform offering property management, investment management, development, and construction services in institutional-quality rental housing. This role involves managing and operating an apartment community, resolving customer complaints, and coordinating the work of a team.
Responsibilities
- Provides input into the development of budget(s) for the property
- Maintains targeted revenues by setting rent rates, collecting and posting rent and fees, and preparing financial status reports
- Approves invoices and manages petty cash fund
- Oversees lease enforcement, including approving applications, renewals, inspections, evictions, and late fees
- Gathers and analyzes market trends to implement marketing and leasing strategies
- Promotes resident satisfaction and retention through timely responses to complaints and service issues
- Supervises property staff and ensures compliance with company standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field preferred
- 4-6 years of relevant experience managing apartment communities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated with strong supervisory skills
Specialized Skills
- Licenses and certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions
- Proficiency in property management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite)
- Management and supervisory skills sufficient to hire, lead, and evaluate team members
Travel / Physical Demands
- Frequent exposure to outside elements
- Physical access to all exterior and interior parts of the property and amenities
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Routine, local travel may be required
