Description

Monroe Group is seeking a seasoned Community Manager to oversee a large family‑affordable Project Based Section 8 (PBS8) community. The ideal candidate enjoys mentoring and developing a team, positively interacting with applicants, residents, and teammates, leading teams with a balance of hard work and fun, and solving problems effectively. Experience in large family affordable housing, strong financial and variance reporting skills, marketing savvy, and proficiency with MS Office and property‑management software are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a dynamic team
• Develop and manage the budget
• Ensure the property meets KPI goals for occupancy, collections, compliance, asset, and budget management
• Submit required weekly and monthly reports
• Ensure site teams deliver safe, decent, and sanitary housing to all residents
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
• Minimum of two (2) years experience as a Community Manager
• Working knowledge of OneSite or Yardi software
• English language proficiency (read, speak, and write)
• Ability to pass a full background check
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle required
• Strong experience in affordable housing programs (preferred)
• Participation in management and occupancy reviews and UPCS/REAC inspections (preferred)
• Experience with resident‑occupied project renovations (preferred)

Pay

$60,000‑$62,000 per year

Schedule

Monday‑Friday (occasional weekends and evenings as needed)
