Responsibilities
- Spearhead the overall operations of an Equity Residential apartment community, ensuring financial success, resident satisfaction, and team excellence.
- Manage daily activities, analyze market dynamics, and drive improvements in sales, leasing, and maintenance initiatives for a flourishing property.
- Accomplish property goals by recruiting, training, and motivating a high-performing team.
- Lead community staff with regular meetings, performance monitoring, and career development guidance.
- Analyze property operations, implement policies for seamless integration, and ensure operational excellence.
- Prepare and manage the community operating budget, overseeing the processing and approval of all invoices and company purchases.
- Support marketing, pricing efforts, and monitor sales performance for goal achievement.
- Stay informed on community market conditions for strategic decision-making.
- Build connections with residents through community events and activities.
Requirements
- Residential or commercial property management, hospitality, or retail experience.
- Customer service and sales experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license, good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation if operating a motorized vehicle (e.g., car, golf cart) during the workday or as part of the role.
- Computer literacy and effective communication skills; must be able to communicate orally and in writing in English for all work-related purposes.
- Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends; must be able to respond to emergencies after normal business hours and on weekends.
- Office team members, with limited exceptions, must use their own smartphone to perform certain aspects of their job. The device must have updated software, be password-protected, and compliant with in-house security systems.
- Ability to use a computer effectively and read written communications.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 15 pounds for the dissemination of documents, supplies, or materials throughout the office/facility.
- May be required to climb stairs depending on the property structure.

Pay
Salary: $84,297.00–$93,919.00 plus bonus. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
