About the role

Greystar is a leading real estate platform managing and operating over $300 billion of real estate in more than 265 markets globally. This position is located in Charleston, South Carolina.

Responsibilities

  • Provides input into the development of budget(s) for the property.
  • Maintains targeted revenues by setting rent rates, collecting and posting rent and fees, and preparing financial status reports.
  • Controls expenditures by managing petty cash and ensuring compliance with budget constraints.
  • Oversees lease enforcement, including approving applications, renewals, inspections, evictions, and late fees.
  • Promotes resident satisfaction and retention through timely response to complaints and service issues.
  • Supervises property staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience managing the day-to-day operations of an apartment community.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Specialized Skills

  • All licenses and certifications required by State and Local jurisdictions.
  • Valid driver’s license for golf cart use on property.
  • Proficiency in Internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs.
  • Strong proficiency in property management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
  • Management and supervisory skills to hire, lead, direct, evaluate, and manage subordinate and team members.

Travel / Physical Demands

  • Frequent exposure to outside elements, temperatures, weather, odors, and landscapes.
  • Physical access to all exterior and interior parts of the property and amenities.
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights up to 20 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Routine, local travel may be required.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $95,000. Additional compensation includes a quarterly or annual bonus program, and various benefits such as medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, paid time off, housing discounts, sabbaticals, 401(k) with company match, parental leave, fertility benefit reimbursement, and employee assistance programs.
